Backdrop not working!

I made a quick backdrop object as an obstacle, and it works. Part of it goes off the frame, which is so the player won't go over there. BUT, when I hit the part that is off the frame, I go through it as if it weren't there! Any idea of what I'm doing incorrect? D:

Do you have handle background collisions even out of window checked in the frame's properties?

Yes, it is checked.

Check your layers and if you are using PMO make sure the PMO collision code is the top condition

What do You mean by layers? And what is PMO?

MMF2 has layers you can edit by clicking in the menu View > Toolbars > Layers Toolbar and PMO I'm fairly certain is Platform Movement Object but I'm just guessing.

Yes...PMO is the abreviation for Platform Movement Object.

OK, but what do I do in that editor thing with an eye and a lock?

The eye makes the layer invisible and the lock locks it so you can't edit anything on that layer.
