    "Extension Choice" dialog box?

Hello, I've used MMF2 Developer for quite some time now, and I've recently received this error I haven't seen before... I've added an "Input Object" into my .mfa project, and somehow when I save, run or build the application, I get this message:

[color:#3366FF](If you can't see the image above it says
Several extensions correspond to the type of one of the object dropped. Please select the wanted extension, and click OK.
It gives me a list with "Popup Message Object 2" and "Input object"
    [/color]

I don't really understand why I get this message, and it seems that every time I save, run or build the application for this particular project file, I get prompted with this dialogue box. I've found that regardless of the option I select or if I press ESC on each message, I see no difference with the application's runtime...

Please could somebody tell me what's causing this message and how I could possibly remove this message or what steps I could take so this dialogue box doesn't appear every time I save, run or build?

    Thank you.

    (I'm using Multimedia Fusion 2 Developer Build R251 on Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 32-bit)

This message is displayed when 2 extensions use the same identifier, when you use them in global events or behaviors (I think in this case MMF2 only stores the identifier of the object and doesn't know with which extension to associate the shortcut when you reload the application). It's a bug of the extension, which couldn't be fixed otherwise this would break the old applications.

This happens mainly with old extensions developed by Cellosoft. You should remove the actions of one of these extensions from the global events/behaviors (if I'm correct).

    Re: "Extension Choice" dialog box?

Thanks Yves! After following your reply to remove the actions from the global events, those messages no longer appear!

It'll just mean instead of using the Popup Message Object 2, I could use the DialogBox object to create dialogue boxes globally.

So again, thanks... I'll remember not to use Cellosoft's extensions for global events, as it might keep prompting me with those messages.
