    Reasonable Game Price

Hi,I want to make a dress up game for exclusive sponsorship.
Does anybody know how much is the price we can get?
I don't want to make any mistake because I'm very new in this industry.
    Thank you.

    Re: Reasonable Game Price

From what I hear, dress up games are the worst in terms of revenue from sponsorship. Flash Game License (.com), where games are sponsored, is regularly full of these types of games, too often because developers just churn them out. Take the code, stick new graphics on it, repeat. This often means there is a low quality to the gameplay of these games. This, on top of only a small number of sponsors who are really interested in 'girl games', makes it not a particularly good candidate as a genre for sponsorship.

However, Pharanygitis has released a high quality dress-up game, though not through sponsorship. Maybe it did well for him, would be interesting to hear his thoughts?

    Re: Reasonable Game Price

DizzyDoo I have seen some pure crap dress up games sell for >$100 on FGL x) It was in some thread there, where you post games you sold, or something (you know the bunches of threads, I have no idea which one it was in now) and people were confused how such a bland dress up game got money.

There are people who will buy it. But don't expect to get rich. Dress up games seem to be more filler for websites than front page material. But you can probably get some money.

I cannot stress this enough, but presentation. You need to present your game well. Sponsors don't usually care about gameplay, but if a game looks and feels nice and polished to play, then it will act well as a conduit for users to their site. Polishing your game up is about 70% of the final product of a flash game.
