Well, I've my own smartphone "Galaxy S SCL (GT-I9003)" now!
I created a new application with beta4 contains 2 frames.
> Frame1 => Button object (with event click to next frame) + Android object
> Frame2 => String object (get Battery level) + Android object.
When I built & run the application, MMF2 and Smartphone are freezed - I was must to remove my battery to reset my phone, and kill MMF2 process in task manager

Sorry to butt into your thread. But I recall a bug (not sure if Jamie was able to change how it works), but the string object had an issue wherein changing it on the fly caused all sorts of quirkiness. Just wanted to let you know so you don't waste a bunch of time on it, as a few others of us have.

> Date & Time object: The countdown mode doesn't work
> Button object: If I use button objet in "Bitmap mode" property, the application will crash.

Info / Observation:
When I build APK file, it overwrite a click application already installed :(
Well I found, you must to change property "com.yourcompany.yourapplication" for not get the same identifier
Fixed in beta 6 : Bitmap button objects, playing a sound more than once.
