Updater isn't working

The updater runs every time I start MMF2, and never finds anything. When I run it manually from the toolbar, it says "Unable to retrieve the information about the update."

I guess I have two questions, then. I have Multimedia Fusion 2 Developer Build R249. Is there an update available? Do you know how to fix the problem with my auto-updater? And if not, is there some other way I can get the update?

I've never gotten the updater to work, so I just disable it.

The latest update is build 251 and the latest updates can always be downloaded from the right sidebar -----> under Quick File Links.

I always had issues with the updater as well, until I recently got a new laptop with Windows 7 Ultimate. For some reason, the updater worked when I installed MMF2 Dev. It installed build 251. So I guess it is hit or miss.
