    converting existing games to ios

I was been looking for a way to convert existing MFW, MFA files to re-size frames or scenes to the various sizes for ios export. Currently I have been doing it one object at a time one frame at a time. Although this works it is very time consuming. I have looked at changing the size in the exporter by changing build type and doing the re-size in the pop up bow however it does not re-size object with in the frame. Am I missing something or missing a faster way of doing this kind conversion. Any help would be great I am sure it would help many people streamline there existing game conversions.

Not at my pc to be able to check what the menu option is called, but you can do it.

Right click on the application in the project workspace and you can clone the app to a new size. It will resize everything and I think it will also give you a report on what events you may need to check that are moving objects because at the new scale they will likely be moving too fast.

Also remember you do not have to necessarily resize down to the exact size, you may want to resize slightly larger to get a better result and then adjust the window size down to your target iOS size after. But ofcourse that is dependent upon your game.

I have been doing that but the result isn't really that great it all looks weird and yes the game speed changes slightly. I have been resizing the frames one at a time, works much better even though it will take some time. Good luck!

MMF2 Developer has this feature, as AndyH says, you just right click on your Application in the workspace and click 'Clone' then you can resize it including all objects. And yes, it makes you a nice text file listing all the X/Y co-ordinate and object speed events which you might want to alter accordingly.

What you could do is just adjust one of the dimensions so that it matches the device's aspect ratio, it should scale it up/down to fit, I think?
