got it working! :) have some questions and a bug.

I finally got some games running on my 4th gen ipod touch, it's a lot of fun!

I just noticed that frame transitions doesn't work correctly, when i do a basic fade with the from background option, it fades from black instead.

Also string objects make the game really laggy, but it might be because i had always conditions on changing the text.

Running games in emulator (from xcode) greatly reduces the fps, is this a problem or a feature? can i increase the framerate of the emulators somehow?

Lastly i would like to know how to allow ipod music while playing, it quickly fades out when i start any of my fusion games.

String appears a bit different in size on iOS. I found useful to center both horizontally and vertically the text of any String, so that they remain centered in buttons of my menus.

In emulator fps is incredibly reduced, it's normal. It happens for every kind of emulator.

I have the same problem with iPod music, but other people on the forum did not have our problem. Probably there's some setting to check, but I haven't got a clue of which.

There's a checkbox for multitasking in the properties, I think that should be able to make it so you can play music in the background.

But if I recall what they said at the launch of iOS4, I think 3GS and above supports multitasking, while regular 3G doesn't (unsurprisingly).

In effect I have a 2nd generation iPod, but I can hear music while using other applications. And I have checked the Multitasking checkbox.

multitasking shouldn't have anything to do with it, multitasking came with ios4 and the oldest ios1 apps would still allow music to be played in the background.

Unless your using a jailbroken device, anything below (not including) an iPod Touch 3rd Gen (16 GB+) or iPhone 3G, will not support multitasking for apps apart from Music. If I recall correctly from the convention last year (I don't have the iOS exporter myself yet), there was an option to allow music to be played in the background (though I'm not 100% sure).

Probably there is an option to allow music to be played in the background, but I can't find it. I've tried with 2 different applications, but I always have this issue: when the application loads, iPod music stops.
