    Can I upgrade MMF2?

I already own MMF2, but I want to get developer. Is there a way I can upgrade my current version of MMF2 to Developer for less money?

    Yes.
If you send Clickteam your serial number etc, they will give you a discount code to use when ordering.

Unfortunately, the form where you enter your details seems to be broken at the moment, so you'll have to just email them directly.

Thats the old form which needs to be destroyed.

You can find the current one here:

    Re: Can I upgrade MMF2?

I know this is an older topic, but my questions are entirely relevant.

When upgrading, is the discount calculated as the difference between the Standard and Developer version? Or is it some percentage?

Also, after receiving the MMF2 Developer version, is there anything I can do with my MMF2 Standard disk? Is there a buy-back program? Can I sell it, or give it away? Do I have to just keep it?

    Thank you.

IIRC it's "just about" the difference. You'd need to request an upgrade to get the exact amount (you don't need to follow through with it).

You can't sell it or give it away, no.

Jamie. Would you explain why you cannot sell it?

    Thanks

I'm not Jamie, but the reason for not being allowed to sell/give away Standard after upgrading to Developer is that you upgraded your copy to Developer, meaning that your Standard key will be blacklisted because it's no longer valid.

Say, you have standard, and pay the upgrade fee to upgrade to developer, then give/sell it to someone else. They then pay the upgrade fee, and does the same. And again, and again. Doing this means that everyone gets Developer at the upgrade price. This will cost Clickteam money.

    Re: Can I upgrade MMF2?

When you upgrade your key for the product is still 100% valid. I can still install updates and the flash exporter for TGF2, MMF2 Standard, and MMF2 Dev. The key is simply registered to YOU and is not allowed to be transferred to someone else. Though the key can be used only once for an upgrade.

Ah, Thanks LB. Clickteam must do upgrades different to the other companies I've dealt with
