Help with MIDI files

I am using MMF2D, and cannot get any MIDI files to play. The MIDI files run fine on Windows Media Player, but the following event produces nothing but silence:
Start of Frame: Music -> Play Music -> (The MIDI file)

I have also tried "Play Music File", but no success either.

Wavs, oggs, and all that work fine using the samples command. I have tried converting the MIDIs to other formats online, but I get files that sound nothing like the original pieces.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Please help!

It's strange... could you upload a .mfa of what you're doing?

Okay, I uploaded the file. It's not the game I'm working on, but it shows the problem.

As you can see, the sample plays fine when you jump, but the music doesn't do anything.

The music plays for me just fine on build 251, which is the build you have. I am not sure why it will not play for you. Or am I supposed to do something specific to get it to not play?

No, it should just play at the start. Thanks for confirming that there's nothing wrong with the programming, so at least I know that my computer's the issue. I'll try to figure it out, maybe try the new build.
