Missing ModFX dll, even if installed

Hello all my fellow MMF2 users!
I have had an annoying problem for a while. Earlier in the days, I always used ModFX or DMC2 to play the music for the games I made. I have never been able to open half of the things I have made, because of this. The problem is; MMF2 can't open the applications because ModFX or DMC2 is missing.. But I have put all the dll files and done all necessary installations, so it should work. It just doesn't.

Is there a way to bypass the extension check, so I can open my files? Or maybe some of you have had this issue with ModFX and DMC before, so you know a solution to my problem?

Copy and rename 2 extensions ModFX and DMC. That should work to get your files open.

I've had the DMC problem before - putting bass.dll into the MMF2 folder (alongside MMF2.EXE) worked for me.
