Help making weapon a seperate object

    Hi
I'm trying to make the player & his weapon a seperate object for the platform game that I'm working so that I can easily change the weapons appearance as the player progresses however I'm having some trouble getting the player and weapon animations to sync up, occasionally it skips the first frame.

    here is the file

Try adding the first frame to the end of the animation also and see if that works.
