    Change Active Animation Based Upon Actives Near It

    Hey everyone,

    I can't figure this problem out for the life of me. I have 16x16 actives, I want to change their animation depending upon how many other (of the same active) are to the left, right, top, and bottom of it.

    0 = Empty Space
    # = Active

    Example:

    000
    0#0
    0#0

    The active in the center will change it's animation because of the one below it.

    I hope I explained myself clearly enough.

    This sounds similar to an example I made a little while ago...

    http://www.konitama.com/CornerSet.mfa

    It checks for objects adjacent to an object and then sets the object direction. (you can easily change this to an animation though)

    Odd... It should still save as an MFA if you save it to your computer.

    You can just rename the file extension if it's putting .tiff at the end or something.

    I thought you could upload the mfa someplace else. It is the server where you are hosting the file.

    Anyone else have this file as a tiff when they save the mfa?

    LB pointed out something I needed to change on my server and it should now download directly as an MFA when you click it.
