The File Object in iOS

Will there ever be a File Object that we can use in iOS? I use this for managing my Save Game files and for checking if files exist and so on but it's not compatible with iOS. Any chance of this being sorted in the future or is it a no-go object for iOS software?

It's certainly possible in iOS to check if a file exists - so should be possible to do an extension. Save Game a lot more complex!

Sorry, I wasn't clear above, I don't mean the Save Game Object, my save game files are INI files. Good to hear that perhaps the File Object can be ported over.
