select all in qualifier with same alt value

I have a bunch of actives in a Qualifier, and they each have duplicates that spawn.
On screen there may be a number of them on top of each other.
I'd like to be able to count how many objects the mouse cursor is hovering over.

Or if it's easier, how many of these objects have an Alt Value == 1.

I have no idea how to do this, anyone know?

I've tried spreading values of 'ID' across them, I get a count of them but I just don't know how to count them AND filter to the ones with the same value.

Another alternative I'm willing to try (and also can't work out) is if the there's two object on top of each other, and I use the mouse to select. How do I just select one?

OK, I tihnk I sorted it, I spread values that set a condition to only select ones of set ID's. Seems I did it the correct way compared to the earlier attempt.

You could also give the 'Select' object from Dynasoft a try, I'm sure it could close some gaps in some of your conditions. Its on the forums with a quick search...

The Select object has an expression for telling you the number of currently selected objects, which sounds like what you want.
