Crash with edit box and set global string

I have the following event in my app:

iOS button clicked
--> Set global string A to Text$( "iOS Single Line Editbox" )
--> Jump to frame 2

Case 1: When I write something to the editbox and press "return" on the iOS virtual keyboard, and then press the iOS button, it works as expected.

Case 2: If I don't close the virtual keyboard by pressing "return", but press the iOS button right after writing some text to the editbox, the application crashes.
