what does "show created items" mean?

It's under the Arrange menu. When I select it, just a few items will appear or disappear from the screen, and I can't figure out what defines a "created item"...any ideas?

Re: what does "show created items" mean?

I think that it refers to objects that you don't have anywhere in the current frame, but that are created by events during the course of a level (this could happen if you use the Create Object event and select an object that lives on another frame).
