    Conditions/Actions not working?

    So I'm working on this top down zombie game and it's been working great so far in MMF2 but of course I forget to test it as the .swf since I know there can be some errors. So today I finally built the .swf and the first few frames are fine (they're just the in game menu's). However when you go to the main game frame all you see is the top left corner of the frame and none of the actions seem to trigger (start of frame, always, etc.).

    If it was working there should of been music, a player spawning and the camera following him, some counters set to a set number... but they all failed to start. I'm wondering if anyone has any idea on what could cause this? The third party extensions I'm using are the Advanced Direction Object and the Surface Object (which i just updated and that didn't fix it).

    So I deleted all of the code in the frame and replaced it with one "Start of Frame" condition and a few actions- create player, set at coordinates, set scrolling of screen to him. None of these worked...

    Could the frame be corrupt?

    It appears something is "crashing" the SWF - or rather, freezing it.

    Not a corrupt frame, but perhaps a bad SWF frame. I've had a similar problem before. Try to see which event gets run last before the errors start to occur, or pull objects out of the frame one by one... debugging this could help Francois find a fix.

    The freeze happens after the frame transition. In one frame you click on an active and you'll go to the next frame. Then instantly that frame freezes.

    If you remove the transition does it work fine?

    I meant the problem happens after going from one frame to the next. Nothing happens on the game frame. I didn't have an actual transition.

    This bug has halted my production of the game and I really need it to be fixed! I've spend a whole week trying to figure it out, but I can't. I'll offer some money, maybe like $10 or $15 dollars to anyone who can fix this (through paypal) :confused:

    I figured it out... it wasnt any objects or code that was making it freeze, but the layers. I dont know why the layers were messing the game up but hopefully i can fix it

    I figured out that it wasn't the layers specifically but the objects on the layers. For some reason my "equipment store" is causing the freezing. If i remove the store then the game works fine. I just need to figure out what part of it is actually freezing up the game.

    The store is made up of actives, counters, and strings. That's it. I don't know why that would break the game...
