    Saving data in flash runtime?

So, if the executable runtimes for games use INI format to save data, what is the SWF equivalent to save player data for the flash runtime? Or is INI also supported in flash? Though for some reason I thought I read somewhere that INI wasn't supported in flash, I donno.

Re: Saving data in flash runtime?

INI is supported in the Flash runtime, I believe is uses Shared Objects.

    EDIT: From the Help file:
    INI and Hiscore objects
Flash allows the application to save a small (under 100kb) data file on the user's machine. The files are saved in a folder on the user's machine, at the following address : Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects
