Best day of the week to release game?

Friday, saturday or sunday?

What's your favorite? I think Sunday would be the best choice, people may be more conected, but I would like to hear from you guys.

The bigger iOS games usually release on Wednesday. Toucharcade.com usually does a weekly Wednesday round-up of all the new releases coming out.

If you are a smaller developer I don't know if you can pick your day. Not even sure how you do it if you're a bigger developer. My understanding is you submit your app, then it shows up as soon as it's approved. If the average approval turnaround is 10 days, the best you can really do is guestimate when it will hit the store.

jregork - you can choose when you release it by setting a release date far in the future before submitting it to Apple for review. Once approved you can then change the release date to whatever you like. When I was researching this a year or two ago, most people suggested Thursday as a good release date, suggesting best chance of being featured by Apple in New & Noteworthy. I've always released on a Thursday and have been featured on New & Noteworthy for category quite a bit, but can't be sure why!
