Location Object - Speed

Is there a tutorial or walkthrough on using this function?
I tried a few things...
Always - Force Location Retrieval
A new location is available - Set Counter to Speed (Location Object)

I also tried...
Always - Set Counter to Speed (Location Object)

These ways work in a way where it seems accurate on the iOS Simulator. But when testing in the real world, when normally going around 10MPH, it displays it as over 400.
Also, for the fun of it, I have two counters that display latitude and longitude. The latitude counter seems to work, but longitude always displays 0.

I'm probably missing something, or the speed variable is completely different than what I think it is.
