Unable to hear music in runtime

I've got a bit of an issue at the moment concerning an piece of music being played in my game. I've got the game set under iOS project at the moment so I don't know if that is causing the sound not to play in MMF runtime. I've made an event for the start of the frame to play the sample (which is an mp3), set the volume to 100 and resumed the samples playback.

I still hear nothing though. My speakers are clearly turned on and working for any other audio on my PC and it is also obvious that the game is loading a little bit before the frame content appears, yet I am unable to hear anything.

Anybody know any possibilities that could be causing it not to play?

    Couple of things to try...

1.Put a END APPLICATION action on the event that is supposed to play the music... run the app, if the app closes, you know the event is working correctly.
    2. It may be the type of sound file you have used. To test this theory.. pick any simple wav file to play... if it plays this, then its definitely the file you are trying to use.

    Ah, yes. That was it.

Imported into and exported out of Audacity as a WAV and that works now. Sorry for asking something rather silly, I should have tried this first.

Also, it loads very quickly now so thanks for your help!
