Dialogue Box

I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out the dilogue box. How do you event with it? I'm trying to change values of an object based on a selection from a combo box on the dialogue box, but I'm having a bit of trouble doing it.

Basically having trouble eventing "if combo box selected item is"

So far I've got an event

Selected item of combo box
"HouseList" = 0

but when I set an alterable value on that event line the change doesn't take effect. I've checked the name of the control on the dialogue box to make sure I had it right. I chose 0 because I figured that was the first in the drop down list.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here, lol.

oops it did take effect. I've got some bugs somewhere else in my events. I'm gonna have to comb through. Sorry about that.
