Do external links work now?

I've lost track about the issue with outgoing links blocked by the popup blocker. Last thing I remember were problems on NG. Is it save now to use the Flash Object to open urls?

I'm not sure if it's "officially" fixed yet, but the last time I asked about it here on the forum, StephenL was kind enough to provide me a beta version of an extension that does the job. I've tested it quite thoroughly and haven't anymore experienced any of these pop-up blocker issues. I think the object is called "Flash URL", not sure if it's available for download on the extension forum?

Yes, I know about this extension and also used it once. But I'd prefer to use the Flash Object if it works fine, too.
