    iPhone 2G

I tested my game on Ipad 1 and 2. On iPod 4 and iPhone 3GS. Also i have a iPhone 2G and i would like to test on it, but Xcode need IOS 4 or higher. Could i not test it on iPhone 2G ? or is there a way to do that ?

I don't think you can test it on a 2G... i'm not 100% sure of this, but close to it.

inside xCode click on the first icon on the tree left side (generally it has the name of your game), double click it and in the settings (second panel from the left where you choose your bundle application name) search down for the iOS version you will deploy the app. Choose iOS 3 (or any other you prefer) and deploy it. If your iphone 2G is running iOS 3 (just an example) it will run your application. Don't expect it to run fine as this hardware is really slow.

To be honest I've stopped bothering with anything before 3GS. Anybody with a 3G or earlier, or an iPod Touch 2nd Gen, generally expects games they download to run poorly now. Timer based movements can only do so much, and I like being able to use my own static engines, the Advanced Platform Movement object etc. and I don't want to have to be brought down by older devices. iOS5 only rolls back as far as 3GS anyway, I think most people using 3G or earlier will be upgrading soon.

I have to agree with DistantJ here, even though i have a 3G device, i think its generally time to move onto 3GS or above only if you are testing/releasing. Just because of SDK issues and support from Apple.
