Sorry to re-open an old thread, but I've found that trying to Open URL with a String Value, eg Alterable String A(Button) has no effect for some reason (fine if just type the URL into the expression editor) - I have a bunch of other apps and thought that holding the URLs in Alterable Strings for the Buttons would make the code a bit shorter (actually using Active System Boxes for the buttons so can have text over button image)

Update - Finally managed to get it to work. I had put quotes around the Alterable String A in the properties editor. Interestingly, when run on PC it somehow ignored them, but on iOS it just didn't work at all, so didn't exit to Safari. Hopefully this will help somebody else having a similar problem!

This seems very strange. Can you send me a mfa that does not work to show me the problem?

    URL from Alterable String

Hi Francois - here's an example as requested. As I said, I found out that the problem was extra quotes around the URL string (I pasted it directly into the properties) so I've managed to fix it, but you're welcome to witness the 'strangeness'
