    Video demo recording?

May be that my cumputers not good enough, but i tried a bunch of video recording sofwares ( cant remeber specifically but tried many ) a short time ago to record gameplay ( of a game i created using MMF2 ) for a small job had.

In all cases what i experienced was massive lag and frame jumps when recording the playing game, lag and frame jumps which was not pressent if i just ran the game normally.
    ...
I think it ( the way demo recording works right now, recording keypresses ) is an OK feature, but realy think it should record whats actually happening on screen.
    ...
When i think about it, it shouldnt be to hard to create a method which would capture and store every single game frame, and in the end ( end of recording ) compile them all into a video or animation.

Basically you would have a condition triggering every frame which would capture whats happening on screen ( maybe using the screen capture object ) and store each image somwhere somehow.
But how to compile the collection of images intoo a video or animation, i have no idea how to do.
    ...
Has anyone ever had this idea before?
Does anyone have an idea on how this might be achieved ( video demo by capturing, then compiling screen images )?

King-Cool, did you try Camtasia Studio? It worked for me with no lag at all. Try to render it as small as possible. How big was the video when you finished it? (how many megs). I'm not sure of this, but when I did mine I recorded the game and matched the frame rate to MMF,.being 50. Like I said,.I got no lad at all. The other way to do it and would take some coding,.would be to make the game play itself by setting all the movement and so on to make it look like someone is playing it. I think that would be a little hard to do,but it would work.
