    Question Problem with player movement

I'm trying to do a simple thing. When Player 1 presses left, an active object animation plays. When the object reaches the last animation frame, it stops. What ends up happening is this: the first time the player presses left, it works fine. The second time, nothing happens. And, at the moment, the THIRD time, it works again, but the fourth time, it won't.

Could someone shed some light on what's going on here?

File is attached. Thanks to anyone who can help.

You're using Stop and Start animation. You need to reset the frame number of the animation after you stop it.

The animation loops. If I make the object go back to the first frame after stopping, the left button will only work once. Take a look at the file if you haven't yet.
