Question Problem opening URLs in an Flash application in a DVD

I used the object Flash Player to open URL and have exported the application as a Flash file. I have made a site wich pages are files SWF (built with MMF2). While I'm on-line, the site works fine, but if I use the version "off-line" from a DVD, the links don't work. When I click in a button that should open another page (with other game), nothing happens. What's the problem? I thank any help.

Just to clarify, the version on the dvd is still a swf file, and not a exe, right?

Yes, the pages on DVD are in HTML, they contain SWF files (games). Each game have a button that should open another page in HTML. But it's not happening.

Did you remember to put the entire link, http://www.yourwebsite.com/page.html instead of just page.html? Someone in the flash plugin forum might be able to figure out why it's not working. Maybe post the file too, so we could look at it. Not sure what the problem is though.

The fact is that I don't want to navigate on-line with the DVD. I want to open the pages off-line. I didn't put the entire link, just "page.html". If I put the entire link, the DVD will try to connect to get the page on the internet, am I right? How should I write the link, then, to make the DVD open a page on the DVD? I'll post this in the flash plugin too. Thanks for your time and help.

You should only use relative paths in this instance.

Most files run from your local computer are trusted less than files on the internet (what's up with that??), so you may be having an issue of the flash app not being allowed to direct you to another page.
Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3

What kind of issue, LB? I tested in two computers and nothing! I'm using the path "page.html". Is it wrong?

You could try using StephenL's FlashURL extension - often, I've found it sometimes gets around things that Flash's security falsely catches, for some reason...
