Question Creating a cooking book / How many frames are possible? Needed?

    Hi!
I will maybe create an ios cooking book for a friend of mine (who has a restaurant with some special meals).
His book has around 100 pages (each page for one dish) - so here are my questions:

Would you guys create 100 frames in mmf just like 100 pages of a book or make another sollution ( I´m thinking
of maybe 10 frames - with one active object in each frame - and every active object has 10 animations = 10 meals)

Has anyone ever made something like this? A book, a consturction book, survival guide etc.

All in all it sounds very simple to me at the moment but I just want to play it save.

    Thx

I think you'd better to use a system that makes you use only 1 frame for the entire book, because I think it makes the application smaller and, most of all, if later you decide to change how the application works (for example change the type of object that holds your pages) you would have to change just 1 frame, and not tons.
For example, if you want your pages to be all images, you could use an Active Backdrop object, where in its image list you have all the pages. For navigating pages, you use the "Set image" action of the Active Backdrop object. And maybe you could also store the number of page reached in an ini file, so that next time the user opens the application he can go on reading from the last page read.

I'd make one big long frame with all your pages next to each other as backdrop objects, and jump the camera to X co-ordinate of the page you want to display...

2 good ideas i can def. work with. I dont know if i will leave it all on one frame, but you´re totally right - if there are changes - i would be fckd if i have 50 frames or so. Thx guys. I will upload an first draft as soon as i have to "go" to create the book!
    thx J
