MMF2 Upgrade Questions

I have a licence for MMF pro version 1.5 and if I upgrade to the latest Multimedia Fusion 2 Developer + SWF, iOS and Unicode exporter, would I be able to get any discounts??

Yes, send me your MMF 1.5 serial by PM, that will be faster.

Some of my software releases will be in Japanese so would you recommend I got the Unicode extension as well or would it not be needed?

Yes, you must get the Unicode module.

Yes, you can get English versions of our products in this shop.

Will it be shipped or downloaded?

As you wish (perhaps better if you choose the download version as you are far from here). Exporters and the Unicode module are not shipped, they have to be downloaded.

I'll be installed DEV today (just got it this week!) and I'd like to know if i should install DEV over the top of Standard or is it best to uninstall the standard version prior to installing DEV?

I would put Dev in a new folder.
You can run both of them on the same computer without any problems if you want.

So if you want to keep standard around in operation you can.

Jeff, I seem to remember something about upgrading from TGF2 or Standard to affect the license of those products? Are we still allowed to "use" them as we would without the upgrade?

LB. This came at the same time that the icons/serial fiasco.IE; MMF2 standard icon was given at the same time developer was. The lowest denominator was removed by someone at Clickteam and to cover the complaints, a statement was made that if you had developer, you could no longer use standard.

I don't know who removed the lowest icons and I can't remember who made the statement. If it matters, I back Jeff's statement, as I honestly believe at the time of the fiasco, the people involved were shooting from the hip, as the forums were new.

Thanks marv. I think it was James who made it only show the highest level product icons, but I don't know his reasoning.
