I think that's because the demo build is much older than the release version? It doesn't get updated very often if I remember correctly.

I don't ever remember there being any version of MMF2 where there wasn't a Create at Start tickbox, and the Demo has been updated recently. :\

I'm with LB on this one, but are you using a special Japanese/Unicode version of the demo? Not sure if one exists, but if there is, that could be a reason.

You are right, I think it was disabled temporarily a long time ago in the demo because the demo was included in someone's book and this option was not yet documented, and I forgot to re-enable it. That will be fixed in the next update of the demo.

Yves could you upload the Japanese version of MMF2 demo for beta test?
I think some differences exist between the release version of MMF2 and the demo.
