Box2D - using complex shapes for floors

In all the Box2d examples I've seen, the floors are just rectangles. How do I use something like the attached image as a floor?Empiricism_collider_revised.jpg I'm pretty sure I can't just make a box for that.

is that picture actual size? Can you provide more details? Is it a platformer a pinball game etc? I'm not saying I'm very knowledgeable with this extension, but you could make things easier by being more specific.

No, that's not actual size, and it's a platformer game where the player can pick up certain objects and when dropped, they fall to the ground. My ground is not just a bunch of rectangles, it's a cave. In the image attached, the pink part is the floor, and the black is the background.

I believe there is a help file that refers to making shapes. Even if you use rectangles, circles and so on, you could always make them and place them to the contour of the floor and make them invisible.

Well if there's a help file, it didn't come with Fusion or the extension. I would try to just contour rectangles to the shape of the floor, but I don't know how to do that either. I tried rotating the rectangles as well as drawing inclined shapes, but the objects just land as if the floor is perfectly straight.

There's some text documents bundled with their extension download, but they are extremely vague and don't describe how to do what I want to do.

You have to create edge chains With the contours of the floor you want. It's shown in the examples (for simpler shapes).

Is there an easier way to create contoured edge chains than just guessing at coordinates (I would have hundreds of coordinates)? And either my coordinates are off or the boxes for my objects aren't aligned right because none of the collisions seems to be at all accurate. It doesn't help that I can't actually see the boxes or the chains. Is there some kind of tutorial for this extension or at least for edge chains?
