    Clickteam, please help, my game will no longer build for Flash!

    Hi everyone,

    I'm making a commercial game for a client and all was going well, but as of a few builds ago my game will no longer sucessfully build for Flash.

    At first it was reporting errors when trying to convert sound files, now it shows on the progress bar to be 99 to 100 percent finished, but then hangs there forever (locks up) even when left for hours. (the game's not that big )

    No more error report, just hangs up. I'm convinced it has to do with the sound files.. I had resampled the wav and mp2 files down to lower bandwidths in hopes of fixing the initial build error reports. (and saved lots of file space too) but now it wont build at all.

    Clickteam, if I send you the MFA, can you help solve this issue?

    Thank you for sending me your file. In your game you use 5 MP3 sound files sampled at 64 kb/s. Flex usually doesn't like MP3 files that are not sampled at 128 kp/s. We say in the documentation that if you can't compile an application and you have modified the default conversion sampling rate you should set it back to 44 KHz/128 kp/s. That also applies to MP3 files you include in your application of course. Just replace those sound files by MP3 files at 128 kp/s, that will work.

    Thank you so much Yves for helping me so quickly! Sorry, I'm definately guilty of not reading documentation (of any sort )

    I converted the MP3's to a Flash friendly format and now it builds perfectly again for Flash.

    I should clarify for anyone who is following this post, when I said "as of a few builds ago", I was referring to builds of MY GAME, Not builds (updates) of MMF2.
