Web Browser Pop-up Blocker prevents flash link

I have a flash application that when you click on a button it uses the flash object to open a URL in a new window, which launches a php script that forces a download of an mp3 file.

It works fine, however, when the button is clicked, the web browsers pop-up blocker prevents the download.

I thought the new release of the flash exporter stops the pop-up blocker issue.

The click has to be in the same event than the opening of the browser. It must "On click on button / Open browser". It will not work if you set a variable to 1 and later test this variable and open the browser.
Also, you should test the method of opening the browser (Blank, Current Window etc). Some of them work better than others.

Based on my tests, the only working solution (regardless of system, OS, browser or swf) to open URLs without the pop-up blocker issue, is the Flash URL object. I haven't yet updated to the latest beta of MMF2, though.
