    Semi-Transparent "Window"?

I'm wanting to make an application that doesn't actually have a window but is just the frame. I already know how to do this, it's pretty easy. But how can I make it so that the application is semi-transparent? I'd like users to see behind the application, and perhaps toggle the transparency. Being able to use an alpha channel would be nice, but just plain semi-transparency would work too.

Sorry if a how-to is available somewhere. If so, I guess I didn't search hard enough...

Sphax Kernel Object can make the window transparent.
