    Jump off, out from the game window?

    I was wondering if something like this was possible? For example, you have your game around the window as normal. But when this condition is met, I want the character to jump out of the game window, and pull the top bar off (the window part that as the minimize, maximize, close buttons) of it and use it as a weapon in the game.

    If it's not entirely possible, then maybe make a fake version of it? For example, remove the actual game window borders (make it plain), and have the game itself create a window design of his own. So theoretically, it wouldn't jump out of the game, just out of its own window i guess.

    But in my personal opinion, the first thought would be funnier, since it would have different effect based on the users interface.

    Using a fake menu bar, definitely possible. You would have to do a test to see which version of windows the user was running to make sure you didn't give them the wrong menu. I'm not sure if you can test what colour their menus are set at though.

    In the application properties there is an option to disable the heading and/or menu bar. There is probably an extension that can toggle these at runtime. If there is, you could use the screen capture object to take a photo of the area of the screen just above your frame (the menu bar) and save that as a jpeg, then load it with the active picture object and then easily do some freaky **** with it.
