Status/Documentation for Get Object

Can someone point me to help documentation for Get Object.
Is it still a valid object to use or has it been replaced?

It's still valid, has been ported to multiple runtimes, and is preferred over Live Receiver.
It's pretty intuitive, the only thing that might not be clear is you just add POST commands before you send a query, and add GET commands to the query link itself.
