Buggy and Hard to use interface controls

Hi have tried to use the tab control. I found that since it is not a container its a pain to use. There is so much coding to try to get it to work.

I compare it to my website development software. You add the control, add your other controls, and it just works.

Can't Clickteam update controls like this?

Other interface controls need to be updated also like the datagrid, it buggy, or other ones that can become data aware. They are really getting a little behind times.

Just an opinion.

What about creating applications and frames that could become published webpages and websites with database access? I know I keep hearing about maybe someday mmf3.

Looki's tab control object did the best it could with the technical limitations of the MMF2 SDK. Have you tried the Dialog Box object? It has a very good UI for doing tab controls, but it cannot be embedded in a frame.

As for web pages from MFAs, we'd need to wait for something like an HTML5 exporter. I think CT's plan as I last heard it was to finish the current exporters and push for MMF3, but I may have misinterpreted several posts.

Additionally, Clickteam cannot convert or update these extensions unless they have the source code given to them from the developer of the extension. Many extensions are not directly made by Clickteam, so this is hard to do.

Yes I know. Guess I was just in a bad mood today. Clickteam has been improving the product over the years.
