I would also be very interested in this, but for the PMO object or custom movement.
And also even as a n00b speaking (even though I have also used Klick & Play back in the days) you should not use the inbuilt Platform Movement, but rather custom movement or PMO.
How do I use PMO? Is this an extension? Know where I can find a tutorial?

I'm not sure if there is one, but have you checked Nivram's site for an example? He has tons of stuff.

It's an extension but I'm pretty sure it's one already included at least with one of the bonus packs that more than likely came installed with MMF2. Shouldn't have to go looking for it. I know Chaos I believe used to have some good PMO tutorials. Otherwise check Nivram's site as I mentioned in my other post. http://www.castles-of-britain.com/mmf2examples.htm
Hrm. Looked under the "P" alphabetical category and didn't see anything related to PMO. Unless it's named something else.
Chaos has a PMO tutorial here http://www.clickteam.com/website/usa/tutorials Scroll down to Chaos Advanced Platformer.

Actually, it's funny you should mention this... one of the quirks of TGF and especially MMF2 is that the default platform engine actually allows wall jumps (usually one, although mmf2 may allow consecutive off different objects, I haven't attempted this yet, but I don't see why it wouldn't work) if you time it right.. my current game allows this and I can get it about 2/3 times - I'm even considering implementing this trick for some secret goodies later in the game....
I haven't used any of the standard movements in a while, but I remember back in the old mmf 1.5 days that you could actually walljump as many times as you wanted with that glitch (and essentially climb walls). I don't know how the standard platform movement has changed since then but I imagine it's pretty similar. At any rate, I don't think that using a glitch to achieve walljumping is really the best idea.

Chaos's example is the way to go. It is excellent. Permission was denied to put the example to my site.
