Lightbulb Cache active pictures from web?!

    Hi!

Is there a chance to cache images allready loaded once?!

I've some menu points, and if you redirect to one, you always have to wait,
    till the images are loaded.

it would be an amazing feature to keep images in memory, if they were already loaded.
is there a chance for this feature?!?

    thx!

Hmm it would be very difficult to figure out when to cache and when not to. Loading a file from a resource path more or less means "please reload this resource completely from scratch".

Is it possible for you to just cache them yourself by hiding the ones not needed and then make the visible again when they need to be shown again?

the problem is, that i switch between frames. so if i go to "Events", i see actual events there (images in active pics).
if it get into that frame 2 or 3 times, everytime the loading starts again, so it would be great to keep the images 'offline' -
no idea if there would be a solution.

Somebody should probably create an image save extension, where you can save an image from the web inside the app package for later use. I know in an app I'm developing I download info from the web but also store it in an INI for when there is no connection, would be cool to be able to do that with images.

Yeah, downloading to a more or less permanent location is preferable. iOS gives you a couple of folders where you can store such data. Some are backed up to iCloud/iTunes while others are more seen as temporary folders that can get cleaned out whenever iOS feels like it (usually when it needs space).
