Ini ?

Is there a way to encrypt an INI, so it can't be edited? If so, can you please explain the events necessary to do this.

The INI++ object supports encryption. Otherwise there are several encryption objects. You cannot "stop" INI editing though.

If an ini is encrypted, the user will clearly be able to see that.

And most likely will not try to edit it. If they do, it will be corrupted and sucked in to them when their save game won't load.
