Actually OldLongDragon, this can be a real issue for any user. I have a frame in my game that has like 1,200+ active objects in it at any given time (and it's only half done so far) because I have the background highly animated in the stage in question (because the active backdrop object is broken) and my tiles are 16x16. I save on processing by making their automatic if too far from window setting set to automatic and I set their animation frame to the value of an alterable value so their animations stay synced.

Well you see the thing is, in those games they use animated background objects to achieve those effects rather than actual sprites, which saves on the amount of sprites needed on screen at once. MMF2 doesn't have a working animated background object at this point in time. The active backdrop object is broken when the screen scrolls as shown in an example and when I tried using it myself.
