Windows 8 and Clickteam Products

I own MMF2 Dev, Patch Maker, and Install Creator Pro. I am installing and testing on Windows 8 Customer Preview. Working fine so far.

I have installed MMF2 Dev from the CDs and installed Build 254.

I have installed ExtensionView and Manager.

Do I download and install the 2 Bonus Packs and the 2 Extension Packs or is that done from ExtensionView?

Are there any other downloads I need I am not aware of? I know at one time it seemed some additional libraries were given out prior to Christmas.

Are all releases of extension being done now with ExtensionView. I see the Released Extensions forum and the Extension Development area.

This might not help you now, but I always back up my extensions folder (as well as help and examples) and then just copy them to the new install. That way you don't have to install anything.

I would download the extension packs from the forum home page side bar.

what shawn said and what marv said! - and as you've been told on another thread. extension view is not clickteam's product.

Yes, I know it was developed by an extension developer but was the preferred supported product for downloading and installing extensions. I can't remember the name of the one prior to it which ExtensionVew replaced. ExtensionView is a nice product. I assume all of this issue will be resolved in MMF3. Perhaps these extension management issues will be built-in. MMF should automatically download and install needed extensions and manage the updating to new versions as new versions come available. I heard it was on the wish list for MMF3, maybe even MMF2 who knows.

To add to what I posted above, in addition to the extensions folder you'll want to back up the runtime folder as well. Though I guess that goes without saying if you're backing up your extensions.
