    Objects and HWA

I was trying to play around with the Chart object. I've played around with it before with no issues. All of a sudden when I try to add the Chart object to an app I get the following error: The chart object cannot be used in HWA applications.

I don't recall ever installing the HWA version of MMF2. I'm running MMF2 Dev Build 254. Only updates I do are from the internal updater of MMF2. Has something changed in MMF where all apps are now HWA?

They got merged into a single EXE

You can turn off the HWA by changing the display options in the application properties.
Standard would be the old software render mode.

Edit -- I went and found the chart object .. I lost it someplace and there is something wrong going on here.
Still get the message in standard mode -- I will go ask Yves to take a look at it.

Thanks. Was just looking and noticed that by default the display mode is Standard.

The merge did it - the display mode will need to be checked by the extension instead of the MMF2 version. I believe the chart object was by Jax??

So any objects that check for HWA mode such as the chart object will have to be updated now?

Yes. Though I don't think any other objects check for HWA mode since they would work just fine in either case and it is extra work to make them not work in HWA...no idea why Chart Object even complains about it.
