    Fades (Semi-Transparency) not working properly.

    When I have objects that use Semi-Transparency for fades, they work normally in EXE builds. Howeevr, they do NOT work in flash runtime. The FlashFX seems to be working correctly, so I don't think that has anything to do with it.
    The semi-transparency effect used to work before when I did those other games. Now I don't know why it's stopped working. Does it have anything to do with the update builds?

    Currently using Build R254.

    Okay..... I did some more testing. It seems to have to do with either the code, or that the objects starts with semi-transparency, or some visibility option. I have provided the MFA, and the export tests.

    The first frame works fine in both exports.
    The second frame works fine in EXE build, but does NOT fade correctly in the Flash export.

    Hey,

    Has anyone made any headway with these issues? Possible workarounds?

    So the blend coefficient in the object properties goes up to 255 now, but in-game, semitransparency values are still bounded between 0 and 128. Semitransparency works fine in standalone apps but there's clearly some conflict between the two ranges in the flash runtime, which can be triggered by some events.

    Using a counter to display an object's semitransparency ratio shows that it's numerically sound at all times, but visually the affected object's semitransparency just doesn't correspond.

    I managed to isolate one source. This is really weird, but if you use the Flash Player object to set the hand cursor on while an object's semitransparency is >0, the next time you try to alter the semitransparency of that object, it'll glitch out. It looks like the value has suddenly doubled.

    If I'm not talking total nonsense I could post an example. But it doesn't account for some other occasions where the semitransparency has unexpectedly become broken

    i was just about to post in the ios forum about this

    my object is not fading in at start, it does not work at all on ipad2 but fine in simulator
