How do i use the 'Replace color function' for Active Objects?

Hi
I have an all black Active Object.
How do i use the 'Replace color function' for the Active Objects?

I fist have to select the 'color to replace', and then select the 'new color', but i have no idea what value to put in the 'new color' box.

Use the expression GetRGB(>Enter red value<, >Enter green value<, >Enter blue value<) and just type an red, green and blue values.
