    Android Camera [Beta]

This extension lets you open the user's first available camera, take a picture, and save it with a custom name and location on the SD Card.
(Example: /MyImage.jpg would place a copy of the image taken into the root of the sd card with the name MyImage.jpg)

*Supports the following image formats: JPEG, JPG, BMP, GIF, PNG, WebP
    Attached files Attached files

Stephen, how would I go about grabbing the live feed from the camera so the user knows what picture they're taking?

By the actions available am I assuming the only way to do it would be to take 15-25 pictures a second and delete, surely that would be a hog though on the device...

I am not sure what you mean. When you call the Take Picture action, it opens the camera. When the user takes a picture, it returns you to your application.

Doh! I was hoping to be able to drop the camera feed into the frame to wrap around it! I'll give it a bash!

How do you save a photo with a custom name using this? When I try to do it, it doesn't work, and it saves it to the standard camera folder. I'm trying to use the Android Images object to display the photo in-app.

The new Camera Object contains the Take Picture Action that includes A expression editor input, to save to the default SD drive folder you simply need to add a "/" infront of the file name like "/Mypicture.jpg" when looking in the devices storage under sdcard you should find the image named,

Aha! Thanks Kigsuri! I knew about the action, but I didn't know I needed the "/"!
