Post online score in game?

Hello peeps hows it going?

I was just wondering, is it a possibility for users to put their high score from my games on to my website using a Java build version of said game?
Or is it a possibility for a user to save the score inside the game while hosted with my web host?

Will this require the game to have my ftp information so it can access the server?

Any help at all will be much appreciated.

If you export to Flash runtime, you could use the GET object to put data into an SQL database. I really have no idea about how to do anything like this in a Java build though.

I had a solution to this before. Although it's in the iOS Forums, it works with Standalone Applications and Flash runtime games as well. You need to have the script uploaded on your web server and an SQL database set up to correspond with that. It's quite simple.
