xbox 360 shoulder buttons with joystick 2

    Hi

I am unable to get the L2 and R2 shoulder buttons to work on a 360 controller using joystick2.
Has anyone been able to ?

edit: even with " any buttons pressed" shoulders dont react.
I read on the web those are supposed to be mapped to axis ? But I dont know how to do that with joystick 2.

I don't think you can map those.

I think that the L2 and R2 buttons are treated as the Z axis I think. A negative Z is L2, a positive Z is R2 (or vise-versa) this allows you to add sensitivity to those triggers. I don't recall though, it's been a while since I put in Xbox controller support.

    Thanks.

This is what I thought too but I havent been able to give a value to the Z axis ?
With Joystick 2 I can only find how to do: Check axis> Has Z axis. (Which was not triggering anything.)

It's been a while since I've used it, but I think in the conditions do a compare two general values, in the first box, set it to the raw Z axis, then the second box is whatever you want to compare it to. I'm not sure on the values, you might do a counter object and always set it to the raw Z value so you can get an idea on where you want the number to be.

Ah you're right ! Then I can just get it to 1 or -1 and it should be good !
Cant actually test it as my xbox controller just got messed up but I'm pretty sure that should work just fine
    Thanks !
