    Hm, so I was fast approaching the limit anyway. I did some quick testing just now, by making a legion of new counters in an empty frame and testing out how it reacted when I made more. From what I saw, folders seem to count towards the limit, rather than helping to keep the object count down. One theory I haven't tested out too much yet is that the folders might count as more than one object (maybe because of those brackets on the sides?). If that's the case, my file could have just recently gone over the 2,000 limit.

    It looks like I'm going to have to work on converting my counters to alterable values sometime. I'm certainly not looking forward to that, but I'm glad I have something to go on, at least.

    Thanks for the information, everyone. I had no idea about that limit. I'm relieved that I have more than 1,000 objects to work with, at least, though I'm sure it's going to take some new methods to fit everything in with that.

    The limit is 2000 unique objects in the frame while you edit it, and 20,000 instances of objects in the frame at runtime (if you set the limit that high, by default it is capped to 500)
    Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3

    I'll change the limit in the Tech Manual. Just for giggles...when did this get changed?

    Okay, good to get that confirmed. Thanks for the info. It's very helpful to know the limits of what I'm working with.

    It seems I found myself engaging in a bad habit without realizing it, so I suppose the sooner I start doing things differently, the better. I've already started tinkering with switching over to the alterable values. Hopefully things will go much more smoothly once that's done.

    I was actually asking Francois for giggles. It has not been put in writing that it changed, as far as I recall.

    Ok. A CT staff member told me the unique objects per frame was changed from 1,000 to 2,000 around bld 251. This is good to know, as it had been 1,000 for years.
